Colbert Hung at the National Portrait Gallery

The National Portrait Gallery where some of the president's portraits are kept was the home for Comedy Central's Stephen Colbert's Portrait. Colbert had his portrait hung in the NPA for a matter of six weeks all the way through April first. The NPA said that Colbert's portrait only had a shelf life of about six weeks, Which is funny. Not only is it funny it was hung there but of all places it was hung right above the water fountain next to the bathrooms. I think they should have kept it up there.
Hopefully some other museum will adopt it in to their care. To be honest only time will tell. It really is very funny how he got it up there. I wonder how much it would cost to have any picture put up. Well Stephen good job on getting it up for at least that long. Next you can work on it staying for good.
